Advantages: Funny, you might find some good recipes because of it...

Disadvantages: ... but properly not, there are better things to watch and it is quite trashy.

Come Dine With Me is a reality show where four or five contestants each hold a dinner party which the other three contestants come to. Then the other three contestants rate the dinner party in secret on a scale to one to ten. At the end, the one with the highest score wins a prize of £1000.

This show does seem to be quite trashy but strangely it is still entertaining. The voice-over Man is pretty funny. His jokes normally are making fun of the contestants. He makes the show more funny.

All the contestants are usually really cocky about winning or big headed about how good the cooking is. The ones are are the most cocky of all the contestants are usually the ones that have the worst cooking (well, at least according to the other contestants taste buds).

It is basically a show where you are watching a bunch of people be drunk, say there food is fantastic, complain about other people's food, have weird conversations over dinner and eat. Doesn't that sound entertaining? Well to tell you the truth when I first use to see the adverts of this show I thought it was going to be like this so I avoided watching it for quite a while, but one time there was nothing on so I decided to watch it. I'm glad I did because I enjoyed it. Although it was still a show where you watch a bunch of people do those things I mentioned over a meal just with a load of jokes thumped behind it.

This show still remains to be a show I watch when nothing else is on. There are better things on T.V and better cooking shows. It come on a Saturday at four on channel four.

Even if you don't enjoy cooking shows, like me, this is still a good show for you to watch because it's funny and it's entertaining to see the amount of trouble someone can get in to while hosting a dinner party but if you are a person who enjoys cooking you can find the contestants recipes on the channel 4 website.

Even if you don't enjoy cooking show this still is a great show to watch so give it a go.

Summary: Give it a go
