I thought I would review this programme as I have recently developed an obsession with it, to the point where I have been trawling catch up tv to watch any episodes I can find. It is on Channel 4 and also More 4. You can also find episodes other satellite channels occasionally.

It is a genius concept, get four (sometimes 5) people who live in the same city to take turns to host a dinner party each night. The contestants score each other in secret and at the end of the week one person is crowned the winner and receives £1000 cash.

The people who enter are a facinating bunch and while the host is cooking their dinnner the other contestants snoop around their house (I love this bit). Most contestants love the sound of their own voice and are very opinionated. One of the best episodes occured when the host got so drunk she passed out and one of the other contestants had to cook the dinner.

The highlights of the programme are the comments made by the voice over man - Dave Lamb. His sarcasm makes the show. I am always amazed that Channel 4 find new people to go on it, I would be mortified if I was them.

There are celebrity episodes occasionally aith Z listers like Lee Ryan (Blue) Peter Stringfellow and Michelle Heaton (Liberty X) which are good but Dave Lamb is not quite so cutting with his comments about them.

If you haven't watch this yet, give it a try. You'll be hooked, there's nothing better than laughing at others!
