The comedy store is a programme where less known alternative comedians can take to the stage and do their act. Obviously it is filmed in the comedy store, mostly in london but also in Manchester when it was opened. The programme is shown on Paramount Comedy. Writing an accurate opinion of The Comedy store is difficult, if not darned near immpossible, for the simple fact that each show has a selection of four different comedians in every show, with a few regulars who have appeared in a number of the episodes. Filmed in The Comedy Store Club itself, and shown on Channel Five and Paramount Comedy, The Comedy Store is a platform for some of the United Kingdoms less well know comedians, and a few Americans thrown in to boot.
