shaneo632 Harry Hill s TV Burp: ... Hill is a funny guy, but he doesn t seem to have the same universal appeal as many other comedians, as many I know don t seem to like him very much. His show Harry Hill s TV Burp predominantly airs on Saturday nights, and launched in 2001, being a fairly consistent ratings hit. The show is half an hour long and has Hill mocking the week s load of TV, cherrypicking the rather accidental hilarities from some of ...

shaneo632 The Inbetweeners
... inevitably overrated because the current state of British comedy is so poor, The Inbetweeners is a refreshing shot in the arm that s crude and cheeky, but also quite clever and manages to aptly capture the sixth form college experience quite aptly. It revolves around four young lads as they try to have fun and, above all else, get their respective ends away. The characters are: Will - a posh kid who has been forced to change from private education to his sixth form after his mum s divorce. He is a geek, and socially inept, although manages to fall in line with the other three characters and shed a bit of his pompous persona, even if it does creep in every now an...

shaneo632 Sex and the City
... a heterosexual male, HBO s lurid Sex and the City is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, but I cannot deny that I do enjoy the show. I have no illusions that women really talk about sex as much as this, but it s still a fun show with a cast of colourful characters and amusing situations. The show depicts four women in New York as they try to live their lives and find love. The characters are: Carrie - the protagonist and a famous columnist who writes about relationships despite, ironically, not really seeming to have much good expertise in the subject. She has a frequently on-off relationship with the mysterious Mr. Big, while also dating other men in the interim. She ...

shaneo632 Futurama
... is the feather in the cap of FOX, the moronic network who seem to cancel everything that s good. Futurama was just such a casualty, but the DVDs sold enough that they released a number of straight to DVD films of variant quality. This is going to be mainly about the brilliant TV show, though, which is incredibly inventive and another superb addendum to The Simpsons creator Matt Groening s corpus of work. The show starts off on New Year s Eve 1999, with bumbling pizza delivery boy, Phillip J. Fry, delivering a pizza to an office, but he slips and falls in a time machine that sends him to 2999. Here he meets a cast of wonderful characters at Planet Express, a deli...
