andrew_dav Time Trumpet: ... believe that Time Trumpet was one of the most under rated comedies over the last five years and that it really never reached its full potential. This is going to be hard to review without people having some idea of what it is. Basically, it s set in the year 2030, looking back on the years just gone (which when it was released would be looking at the next few years ahead) with the idea being that some ludicrous t...

Dangey2009 Everybody Loves Raymond
... loves Raymond is one of my favourite American sitcoms of all time. I regularly watch the re-runs on the comedy channel. It can take a little while to get into it but once you do it s brilliant. The comedy first aired in 1996, and spanning 210 episodes ran until 2005. In fact Kevin James who plays Doug in King of Queens appears in this show first as Ray s friend before his own series began shortly after. The show follows Ray Barone, a successful sports writer who seemingly has everything he wants. He lives with his wife Debra and daughter and twin boys in a nice house in Long Island. However as we discover his life his run by his bored wife Debra, his overpower...

TravellerJen Bob & Margaret
... and Margaret is an animated comedy shown on FX and also on Channel 4 On Demand (4od). It used to be shown also on BBC 2. There have been up to now 4 series and 52 episodes. The main characters, Bob and Margaret are a cute little married couple who go about their lives, but the show always has a few little twists in order to make the episode interesting. They are both in their 40 s and this is a great and light show to watch about them struggling with everyday events in their lives. Bob is a dentist and Margaret is a chiropodist. They have two dogs who are the same build as their owners, slightly chubby called William and Elizabeth. The show was created was David Fi...

Dangey2009 King of Queens, The
... started watching King of Queens probably about 3 years ago now and absolutely love it and it s a shame it s not made any more. I watch it daily on the Comedy Channel on Sky where they show re-runs of the show. King of Queens first aired in September 1998 and ran till May 2007, spanning 9 seasons and 207 episodes. The comedy show is set in the working-class suburb of Queens, New York, and follows follows Doug Heffernan (Kevin James), an IPS delivery driver, and his controlling wife, legal secretary Carrie Heffernan (Leah Remini), as they face life s everyday challenges. The funny thing about this show is that Doug and Carrie deal with day to day problems in life that ...
