The Inbetweeners:
... you want a comedy show that shows what teenagers are really like - then this is it. Unlike Skins which glamorizes teens going to "underground raves", this shows what teenagers, especially boys, are really interested in - trying to be cool, and trying to get laid. The series is based around Will McKenzie who was previously privately schooled and then had to transfer to a sixth form in a comprehensive sc... Drew Carey Show, The ... am I writing a review for the Drew Carey show? Well I really think it is worth a watch, it may not be the funniest show and there are certainly better American shows past and present however there is a certain something about this that is very difficult to define that makes it great. TDCS doesn t have the greatest characters or the best story lines, I think it is the cast that make the show great you get a sense that everyone involved is really enjoying themselves and it is that sense of fun and friendship that draws you in. I first saw TDCS when it was on late night telly, I recognised Ryan Stiles from Whose Line Is It Anyway and decided to keep watching and have ... Takeshi's Castle ... you seen this programme. It is absolutely nuts!! The essence of the programme is for the dcontestants to find their way to Takeshi s castle through a number of puzzles that involve physical feats, avoiding monsters and a little bit of stamina thrown in for good measure. If you haven t seen this, another programme which is comparable is Its A Knockout , though not as tame. About one-hundred contestants take part and are elimintated through out the game, usually to about eight people. Lets have some examples of the puzzles involved: imagine a slippery slope set at about 45 degrees and about 20 feet high. The contestants have to run up this and whoever can maintai... Takeshi's Castle ... Castle is this show which is unusual to say the least. There is a group of people from China who are trying to do different tasks. If they fail they are out and if they succeed they are through. It sounds simple but some of the challenges are so bizarre. Some of them involve running on step stones and hoping to avoid the ones which sink and others involve them just climbing obstacles and the show is so silly yet entertaining at the same time. Throughout the show you have a narrator and you are given some comedy from him otherwise the show would have this poor feel to it. It was set quite a few years ago I would estimate over 15 years ago this show was done because... Read the full review: Takeshi Castle by pendrive |
