Advantages: good soap

Disadvantages: not all charectors are good

Coronation street is fantastic, its on every Monday night, Wednesday, Friday and usually Sunday however they seem to stop it on Sunday for a while so im not too sure whats happening with that now.
Its also on for a double episode on Monday nights with a short break for the news in between the two episodes.

The thing I really like about coronation street is that you don't have to be an avid watcher to get into it, the story lines are set out so that you can miss quite a few episodes and still know whats going on as long as you see a couple of them a week or so.

Of course as with all soaps, the story lines can be a bit over the top, however lets face it if they filmed storys like every day life we would all just turn over, no body wants to watch their life story, they want to watch something exciting and racy and that's why the storys may be a bit over the top most of the time.

The characters are what really make the soap though, you've got a real mixture, from the hard men, to the weak and the old, and theres some really good comedy moments that come through from this soap as well. One thing that people usually say it that corrie is only for old people, and it's the soap with old people in, however that's just not true at all, there is currently a real mixture of characters in it, and I like the recent addition of more teenagers in the soap, especially the new character Graham who is really funny.

If you don't already watch this program then I do really advise it, its fun to watch, and I promise you it will get you hooked really easily.

Summary: still a very good soap
