Lately Corrie seems to be a bit more lively than it has been for the past few months. The storylines are better than a few months ago. Then it revolved around the ‘olduns’,

We’ve been bombarded with sites of Rita and Anthony kissing, Deidre trying to kiss Dev, Alma and Ken kissing, Deirdre and Ken kissing, and seeing Eileen and her other half at it was really a bit too much!

I know people over 35 are entitled to a love life but to be shown it in action in most episodes is a bit too much. Especially when some of them are well over 50.

Come on you scriptwriters, have you gone to sleep? We want to watch our favourite soap showing family dramas, with excitement and humour thrown in.
The strorylines this week have improved. Dougie getting one over on the other ‘oldies’ of the street, (all we need now is to see Fred Elliot kissing)!

The one about Dev is entertaining and Sam and Sara-Lou is a good one.
Why doesn’t Corrie have writing competitions, with the viewers sending their ideas for entertaining storylines? We don’t want Corrie to end up all violence and shouting like Eastenders but neither do we want to fall asleep watching it. Or throw up at some of the scenes shown lately.

People of all ages watch it, so this should be reflected in the casts used for storylines at any one time.

After all it is the longest running soap and has a lot of followers. I myself never miss an episode. 7.30 pm Mon-Wed-Fri-Sun is the one time everyone in the house is quiet!

I just think it could be better sometimes.
