“ BBC / Crime Drama „
Criminal Justice was a brilliant crime drama that was on ITV 1 a couple of months ago, November I think. Over the course of a couple of nights, we got to see the drama that had been introduced in a character, Bens, life. It starts with us being introduced to Ben, and shows him on a night out, and going home with a girl. During the early hours of the morning, he finds that the girl has been murdered, while he fell asleep downstairs after taking some drugs. He is accused of the murder, as his DNA is all over the bedroom, leading us to believe that the pair slept together. The rest of this show is set in the court room, following his trial and how he solicitor and barrister try to piece together evidece which may suggest that another person did it. I wont spoil the ending but you will be suprised by the outcome, baring in mind that we never actually got to see who murdered the girl.
There is some brilliant acting in this drama, and I enjoyed it from begining to end. However, my step-dad didnt enjoy it, as being a solicitior, he stated that the show didnt depict them as they are in true life. But hey, its tv isnt it. I wish there would be more tv shows like this, as I enjoyed it so much, and makes a change from the other rubbish on tv these days.
I dont think this show is for family viewing, so if they ever repeat it, make sure your kids arent in the room when watching it.
