Crocodile HunterNewest Review: ... loves creatures of our planet. Steve Irwin has a great heart, he really feels for the animals he deals with and in many episodes, show's strong emotion. Whether it be the dieing baby elephant he encounters, or the day his Dog Sui or Crocodile Mary Die, you can tell how deeply he cares for his animals. He follows the motto "Treat your animals and people as you would like to be treated" and I think that's one of the key points to his success with wildlife. He handles snakes on more or less every episode, often they are the most venomous snakes in the world. In his 40 + years, he had never had a serious envenomation which is mor... more |

The Crocodile hunter is pretty much my favourite programme on Television and it is a grave shame not only for fans, but to the planet that Steve Irwin is no longer with us. The point of the show is conservation through exciting education and it attempts to educate those ignorant to the beauty of the traditionally less loves creatures of our planet. Steve Irwin is good with snakes and crocodiles and tarantulas and scorpions. He can catch all the crocodiles that friten the people and put them in another river. He can get the snakes from the peoples houses and they do not bite him when he holds their tales. When Steve was eight years old his family moved to Queens land to start a reptile park. They started catching lizards, snakes, and crocodiles. Steve caught his first crocodile when he was nine years old. In April of 1973 they opened the Queens land reptile and Fauna Park. In the 1980's Steve volunteered at the Queens land Governments rogue crocodile relocation program. He spent years in Northern Queens land catching crocodiles that were pests to the locals. He caught ... Read the complete review

If you watch The Crocodile Hunter on Animal Planet, you will recognise that this is how Steve Irwin, the crocodile hunter, talks about crocodiles which are the love of his life. The Crocodile Hunter has to be the most exciting wildlife programme ever shown on TV. Australian born, Steve Irwin is the star of the show. You will seeing him wading in water, looking for crocodiles, fighting crocs, handling deadly snakes, letting spiders crawl over him. He puts himself in unbelievable danger. He brings the creatures up to the camera and educates the viewer with everything he knows about them, imparting his enthusiasm on to you. At first you think he is so ... Read the complete review

Sick of the kids constantly watching cartoons all during the wet summer days, I searched throught the channels on sky for something a bit more interesting. I came across a programme called 'Crocodile Hunter' on Animal Planet, a Discovery Channel. It is fronted by a rather mad Austrialian man called Steve Irwin and his wife Terri. The show's format sees them travelling all over the world in search of weird and wonderful creatures. For all it's called Crocodile Hunter, it's not limited to the big snappers. Steve regularly gets up close and personal with various lizards, snakes and even furry limas. Steve Irwin seems to enjoy ... Read the complete review
