Steve Irwin is his name incase you were wondering......an owner of an Australian Zoo.

He has got the nickname...Crocodile Hunter.

Steve features quite often on Discovery Channel, and sometimes programs such as BBC1 and Discover Animal and Planet.

He is a real crocodile hunter.
Just average size, but with a wealth of knowledge he will go out in the bush, and search for a variety of animals.

For anyone interested in wildlife programs, you will not get better than this.
Steve does his upmost best to get as close to the animal as he can.

Often he will be wrestling a crocodile, covering it's eyes, the lot just to get a look at it.
Don't get me wrong though, he is not the cruelty type. He cares and respects all animals so much, its unreal.

He has done quite a few shows, some so good you can watch them over and over again.

A couple of memorable ones are;

Search for the Komodo Dragon:
Steve goes to the island of Komodo, home of the lethal Komodo Dragon.
One bite from this "giant" lizard will probably kill you. The bacteria in it's saliva is deadly, yet Steve brings this creature virtually into your living room.

10 most dangerous snakes ever:
Steve travels the length of America and Australia in search of cobra's, taipans, fierce snakes the lot.

Using no protection - and no....I'm on about snakes here....he will pick the snake up with his bare hands.

This guy is insane and the least you can do is watch him.

Wildlife programs will never be the same again!!
