CSI (New York)

Description: Criminal detective series. / The forensic franchise stakes out the big apple.

Newest Review: ... American show of the past few years. But this is going to be a slightly different review since at least once a program I get very angry; this show is full of scientific twaddle. Its not just this show all the CSI franchises are full of it! Firstly what are crime scene investigators doing with guns out in the field? Some of the characters are police officers, but not all. CSI;NY is a spin off series from the original, CSI that was set in Las Vegas. Starting in sept 2004 (in America) its now on its fifth season. Created by Ann Donahue, Carol Mendelsohn and Anthony E. Zuiker its been nominated for loads of awards. I love watching this program, I really do think its one of the best American show of the past few years. Premium Review Solve some crime in NYC (404 words)

Following in the successful footsteps of the original CSI and the follow up CSI Miami, the New York version of the show was created. Starring Gary Sinise as Detective Mac Taylor, the leader of this group of forensic detectives, the show follows a familiar, albeit more gritty and real path than the other versions I have seen. For anyone not familiar with the CSI franchise, the basic premise is that when a crime is committed, an investigation needs to take place. With most programmes or films this focuses on the police or detective side of things but CSI is more about the forensic investigators who do the 'sciencey' work. This gives the viewer an insight into ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review CSI (New York): CSI new york (161 words)

CSI new york is another CSI program, (others include vagas, and miami). As the name suggests, this program is set in new york, and follows a group of forensic scientist as they solve crimes (most of the time, they are solving murders). I personally do not like this CSI as much as other series, as this version isn't very sciency, and it unrealistic. Furthermore, the acting and the characters just are not as good on this episode. Whats more, is that the murders and plot lines are not as imaginative as they are on other CSI versions. However, that said, this is still a CSI program, so it still does have some things going for it, such as a lot of mystery, and brief ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review CSI NEW YORK : ONE OF THE BEST (255 words)

I absolutely adore CSI: NY, it just edges ahead of the original CSI. Although from what i have read on american websites, they tend to disagree with this and rate it the worst out of the three. I genuinely love all the characters, and believe them, from Mac who is in charge and who runs the show, to Stella who is Mac's second in command if you like, to Danny, Lindsey who are CSI's to Flack the NYPD detective. They all work so well together in bringing the stories to life, the programme shows just what it takes to catch a killer, all the small details and the painstacking effort that goes into finding clues, each episode is fast paced yet still manages to capture all the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review CSI (New York): CSI (274 words)

CSI is one of the few American shows that I like, and I personally think that New York is the best out of the three. One of the main reasons that I like this show so much is because it makes you think, and unlike some other detective shows that show you the killer first, this show makes you try and work it out on your own, with a little help from the shows actors. CSI New York mainly focuses on the work that they do rather than their personal lives, so it makes for brilliant viewing. I love each and every character in the show, especially the leads, Mac Taylor and Stella, they just work so well together. Many people these days think that it is only the police ...  Read the complete review
