Supermarket Sweep is a gameshow set in a supermarket. It's hosted by the wonderfully camp and orange Dale Winton. There are 2 people in each team and there are 3 teams competing to win the cash prize at the end of the programme.

A person from each team takes turns answering the questions, which are to do with prices of different shopping items, or general knowledge questions, normally with a shopping or product theme.

The object of the first half of the show is to build up time on your clock by answering the questions. This is the time that you have to go 'wild in the isles' in the second half of the show. This is when one of the teams 'shoppers' goes on a trolley dash around the shop and the team that gathers up the most expensive shop wins.

The winner then is given a set of clues and has to find 3 different items from the clues hidden around the shop in 60 seconds to win the big money prize.

The show is very camp in general and the contestants seem to have a lot of fun playing.

It's very much daytime tv, easy to watch or have on in the background, I like it!
