Advantages: Funny, entertaining, its funny when they dont win the money

Disadvantages: Beyond cheesy, dale winton, cringeworthy

If you have never seen Dales Supermarket Sweep, it is a camp UK game show with the annoying fake Dale Winton as the host.

Contestants consist of three groups of two people and it is their job to do several supermarket games and challenges and compete to run the sweep at the end of the show. The top prize is two thousand pounds.

During the sweep, the winners have to solve word puzzles on a piece of a cardboard and are guided by the answers around the supermarket to the money.

I love the show but there are so many things that peeve me off about it. Firstly, Dale Winton! Now i have nothing against camp people but he is just overly camp and annoying.

He shoots big fake cheesy smiles to the camera and you can tell by his eyes that he would rather be anywhere else than hosting an embarrassing gameshow.

When he introduces each guest, he pretends hes interested in them by asking them to recall an embarrassing or funny moment in their life.

To me, this is just one of those cringeworthy moments when you want to throw a brick at the tv.

Dales Permatan - whats that about?! Theres being tanned and being tangoed and he is definitely the latter.

The most annoying thing though about him is his one pair of leather trousers that he always wears and pulls up really high (gross)

This show just feels like one big fake forced smile freakshow but i still cant help watching it as its entertaining. Next time its on, give it a watch and have a laugh.
