Advantages: none, well ok it gives students something to do

When I first saw this program a couple of years ago when it first came onto our screens I was amazed at just how low ITV could stoop in program making. Now I am even more amazed that there are people who actually like this and still more people who are willing to degrade themselves by appearing on this abysmal program.

The amazingly stupid idea begind ths game is that 3 teams of two people compete in a 'gameshow' which is all supermarket related. You have to perform such mind numbingly stupid activities such as guessing the price of a product, guessing the name of the product given some blatantly obvious clues and finally run around the supermarket throwing things in a trolley to see who gets the highest value and can thus progress to the final. The final itself again involves running around the store looking for clues to the prize which are in the form of riddles and send you to another of their products - which could be anywhere in the store.

It does not make good viewing.

Dale Winton is not one of my favourite presenters, not because of his personality because I do think he is one of the better presenters on TV, but simply because of the type of show he accepts. Surely no other self-respecting human being would present a program such as this(or Pets Win Prizes - another disasterous pile of claptrap) on national television. OK so its longevity is probably down to his presenting skills as he camps it up supremely as the host but even her can do nothing to save this show in my eyes. Couple this with some of the most personality-free, inept contestants seen anywhere and you have a show that is a real turkey.

So when you hear the sound of the beep....turn over quick!
