Darren on the programme does not seem to get on any ones nerves, but when it gets to the voting. The people that vote him out, say they do it because he is too self centered. Which seems quite strange, but I suppose it is because channel 4 only show us the bits they want us to see.

The only real problem that I have with Darren is that, when he explains why he has chosen to vote people out, he gives reasons like he expects the person would like to go out because to meet their family or check how the farm is doing. Are these really his ideas or does he do it because he does not want to look bad in front of the public. Is he really the most calculating of the lot. As must of thought about this, also he loves the chickens and most people like animals so if he is seen to like the animals he might get a better public opinion. Nick did it in public, but maybe Darren has it all planned out in his mind. But then again whats wrong with that after all he might need the money as he has a family. Or am I reading too much into this.

From what we see Darren seems like a nice bloke, but i bet he must be missing his children. And maybe he will get a chicken when he gets out the house.
