Dead Man Weds is a warm comedy based in the fictional Fogburrow, home to the struggling parochial newspaper The Fogburrow Advertiser. Written by Dave Spikey on the back of his partnered success with Phoenix Nights, he teamed up with Johnny Vegas and wrote this short (just 6 episodes) little masterpiece. The characters at the newspaper are well played and their traits lead you to feel as if you've known them all your life - similar to Dinnerladies. The show revolves around cattyness in the office, particularly from Lewis (Vegas) who believes he should be in charge.
