Advantages: can be a good show

Disadvantages: boring contestants somtimes and noel edmunds

Deal or no deal is a game show hosted by noel edmunds which features 22 different players who each have a box with money in ranging from 1p to a whopping 250 000 pounds. The player who is chosen by the computer randomly at the start must first get rid of 5 boxes, then 3 boxes each round after that.

After they have gotten rid of the boxes they then get an offer after each 3 boxes (or 5 at the start) have been removed. The offer comes from the banker and if they choose to accept that offer, then that is what they will go home with, however if they don't then they must play and and continue till they either accept an offer from the banker or until they are left with their box at the end.

Few people really go on till the end, and it is impossible to win the big money unless you do decide to go on right to the end of the show however there are also a lot of people who do go onto the end only to find they have a small amount in their boxes so the show really is all about timing it right and going away with the most money that you could have gotten.

The show is hosted by Noel Edmunds, someone who I find utterly annoying at the best of times, I don't know why they choose him as the host, perhaps he appeals to the older generation however I think that if they could have had somebody a little younger, or just someone who is actually a little bit funny then the show would appeal to everyone and would be a lot more popular than it already it.

The player involved in the game also makes the show really, if its someone fun then the game can be very entertaining, however if its someone who is a complete bore, then I just find myself turning over to watch something else instead.

I have to admit, when this show first came out I did really enjoy it, however since its been on for a while, and its on every week day I find it quite boring now, I think it would be better if they got a good host and if it was only on every Saturday night or something like that, however if your bored, and theres nothing else on then it can be an alright watch.

I feel like i must add at the bottom of this review, the second person ever to win the £250 000 has just done so tonight, i had written this review in advance however it has made it a bit more interesting now and so my rating may have gone up slightly
