Deal or no deal?
1 simple question, 22 players, 22 boxes.
Noel Edmunds presents this gameshow which captures the attention of many views across the nation. It is a very fulfilling show which consists of 22 players, each with their own selected sealed box, which they believe has the £250,000 grand prize in. One player gets selected at randow to take part in the show. There is no qualification whatsoever required in order to take part or become a contestant in the show. The chosen player, then starts selecting the sealed boxes one at a time, each box with their own value in, ranging from 1p to £250,000. The strategy of the game is to try select the boxes with the least amount of "money" inside, therefore elimating the boxes with the low amount inside and being left with the boxes which content the high amounts. There is also a live audience which are known as the "pilgrims". After the player chooses a certain amount of boxes, the "banker" will call and speak to Nel Edmunds, and will offer the player an amount, which is generally a bit below the average amount value of the boxes left remaining. The player then gets a chance to say if they wish to take up the bankers offer ("deal") or wish to go ahead and continue with their game ("no deal").
The box which the player originally brings to the table as their own "chosen box" is usually the last box to be opened in the game, if the player wishes to continue with the game all the way to the end.
This show is really great and I try make a plan to watch it every day it is on. It really gets you going... I love it!
Summary: I love this gameshow

- 21/04/09 you need to add more of what you think of it rather than just how the 'game' works. If you add this let me know and I'll take another look and re-rate. |
