Deal or nor deal has been going for a number of years now, hosted by Noal Edmunds, this quiz shows gives one person each show the opportunity to win one million pounds or to walk away with just a penny.

Each contestant chooses a box at random at the start of the show and if there box is chosen to play they are the main contestant for the day. They then have several rounds whereby the choose numbers and the other contestant then has to open there box to see the value of it. This then eliminates that particular value from the players board. After openeing 5 boxes the banker wil then call and offer the contestant an amount based on what values are left on the board and the aim of the game is to beat the banker by having the higher value in the box.

At any time when the banker offers them an amount they can deal with the banker and walk away with that amount in their pocket, however the game continues to see whether they would have gone home with more or with less, dependant of what is in their box.

I find it a pretty pointless game to be honest but addictive to watch. It's nice to see people win big amounts and you feel sorry for them when they walk away with very little and have been playing for weeks to get into the main seat...but thats the way it goes.
