The trailers for this programme which was shown on ITV1 looked amazing - a British version of Supernatural we thought. However it didn't really live up to our expectations. The programme starts with Luke finding out that he is part of the Van Helsing Dynasty. He is visited by one of his late fathers best friends, and his godfather - an American called Rupert Galvin. This part is played by Phillip Glenister of Life on Mars fame, unfortunately he plays it as an American and it just didn't work for me.
