Derren Brown has been in the public eye for a few years now, and its about time that people with a form of celebrity status have talent, just like Derren. He never claims to be a psychic or Mind contorller. He openly admits that his stunts are carried out through Psychology, suggestion and showmanship and believe me he is certainly a showman.

His Mind control programme showed him using a number of techniques that showed him to posses the ability to read minds, but of course the synics amongst us don't believe in such rubbish. And the biggest Synic of all is Derren, He openly admits that he doesn't believe in psychic abilty, so if that what you thought he was, this programme isnt for you.

His mind control techniques include ideas such as conditioning, thinking outside the box, and throwing a spanner into the works,(more information on this is on his website "http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/mic rosites/M/mindcontrol/index.html".

I dont want to give too much away to spoil peoples experience of the programme but it is pure entertainment, he doesn't take himself to seriously and some parts of the programme are even comical at times. He is the ultimate showman as i found out recently when i went to see him live.

If you are a fan of Derren and his work already i would strongly advise you to go and see his live show, his tricks were incredable and went off without a glitch, and some of the content is a bit more extreme that what you have seen before, because it can't been shown on Television for legal reasons.

The mind control programme is a great place to start if you haven't seen any of his work before, and you certainly wont be dissapointed.

Summary: Great showman at work!
