This is the hilarious Americam drama series that is aired on channel 4.
The series is set in fictitious Wisteria lane and follows the lives and loves of a group of well off American housewives who seem to have it all money, beautiful homes and great careers.
The show makes you realise that appearences are almost always deceptive.

Edie Britt is the streets slapper who makes a play for any man in sight,she has a succsesful estate agency but she has recently been written out of the show.

Bree Hodge is the perfect housewife with two grown up children, she has had drink problems and also insits everything is perfect in her home and life.
Her son is gay and her daughter got pregnant whilst unmarried so Bree decided to keep up appearences and pretended to be pregnant herself and passed the baby off as her own.

Susan Mayer is so clumsy she is a childrens book illustrator she has been divorced from her teenage daughters father for years and has a small son by her last husband Mike the plumber who is due to marry one of Susans friends.

Lynette Scavo is the harrased mother of 4 and just never has enough hours in the day.
Lynette is married to Tom and recently had cancer but is now recovering.

Gabrielle Solis is married to Carlos and they have 2 overweight children, she is an ex model and loves anything that is designer.
She will stop at nothing to get her own way.

Katherine Mayfair is the newbie who is due to marry Mike she moved back to the street after hiding from her daughters abusive father for years.

There are loads of other characters in the show too many to mention.
The show is the best American comedy show I have ever seen and my husband loves it too.
It always makes us laugh, a real tonic when you are feeling down.
Cant find out when the next series is on but they are showing reruns on 4 on demand.
Great show.
