Standup comedian John DiResta stars as a transit cop who deals with the antics of police headquarters. At home, DiResta is an opinionated yet devoted family man who gives a warm and humorous view of his home life, police headquarters, and the "underground culture" of New York City. I've only started watching Di Resta since my summer holidays began, as it airs at around 2:00am and my night owl habits mean I'm generally awake to watch it. Though not outstanding, it is a highly watchable US sitcom about John Di Resta, a policeman in New York, and his family. It's light-hearted, funny, easy to watch and the characters are good. I would recommend it, although I do wonder why Paramount show it so late at night. Surely a show like this deserves an earlier time slot so that more people can catch it?
