Advantages: Good laugh,

Disadvantages: may only be good with a beer! or few!, very cheesy

This is ideal post pub programme as it is on a friday night around 11. IO suggest sitting in front of the tv with a pizza with your mates, because this programme is actually really funny when you have had a few beers, I have to admit to never watching this when i am sober, so it probably isn't that great, but who cares as on friday night this suddenly becomes compulsory viewing!!

The deal is that people want a date, be it long term or for the night and they give all their details and make a video about them. Then the tv crew go onto the street and show the video and get people to make their own videos if they are interested in possibly getting a date. The tv crew then go back to the prospective date and show them all the videos and they make their decision. Then you get a run down of the date in a few minutes. There are usually 2 dates per episode and then there are brief intros to a number of different people and you get the chance to ring up and request a date.

It is actually quite a funny programme, as some of the people are awful, some are hilarious and some are just down right desperate. If you love Blind date and street mate then you may well want to give this a try too!
