Dickinsons Real Deal is a day time tv show present be the antiques specialist David Dickinson. It is set all over the country, and each episode is in a different city, using major cities, such as London, Cambridge and Manchester, and the surrounding areas. The show is all about people trying to sell their valuables. They first go to see a valuer and get an estimation. They sit down with a dealer, who will offer them cash for their item, and the person will try and get more money. When can either deal, and take the cash, or go to auction where they hope they will get more money, however they are always told that they will have to pay commission on the final price, so sometimes they may get less money at auction than they were offered at the dealers table.

This show also has a daily competition, in which a va;uable item is put into the auction, and whatever that makes, it is offered as a prize to a member of the public who is choosen at random when entering the competition by answering the question correctly. Normally, David will add a sum of money to the winning prize as sometimes the item can sell lower than expected. At the end of the show, we get to see how much money the dealers made on the items they bought, as of course, they are real antiques dealers, and need to make a living.

They show is a way to let the time go by, and I wouldnt really be bothered much if I missed it. There is a reason why it is an early afternoon show, as every one is at work, and wont be a s popular as some others.
