Advantages: Hilarious if you're into this kind of thing
Disadvantages: Boring and Messed up if you're not
Introduction-
Not long ago a group of friends who were willing to do anything for money thought that it would be a great idea to get together and make a pretty sick and crude movie with them doing all sorts of fun pranks in it. However, they were called the Jackass team, and unfortunately they were quite different from the Dirty Sanchez boys
As a series, Dirty Sanchez was half decent. The occasional funny sick prank or risky stunt, but a lot of the team it was simply boring and self absorbed. As a movie, it is not any better. For your money, you are rewarded with 96 minutes of infrequent humour, but mostly just a bunch of prats running around shouting and swearing, and talking about doing being stupid.
Plot-
The movie features four best friends. Lee Dainton, Dan Joyce, Mike Locke, and Mathew Prithard, as they go on an adventure across the world to commit the seven deadly sins to regain their souls. Some of the pranks will have you giggling, such as Pritchard being hit well over a hundred times with a paintball gun, and Dainton being painted green in his sleep to look like the hulk, but many parts such as the body fat drinking are more likely to simply have you cringing and feeling ill at.
Dainton is no doubt the best in the film as the short, grumpy, sleepy, slightly loveable victim of most pranks. You will likely find yourself laughing at his repeated fits and tantrums when things don't go his way. Pritchard is also quite impressive as the idiot who will literally do anything, and have no respect whatsoever for his own well being. Locke and Joyce however play more insignificant secondary roles and don't really stick out much.
Conclusion-
As a movie, it suffers from being too long and a little too dull, with too much talking and not enough actual fun pranks. It leaves you feeling like you are waiting for ten minutes in between each prank while they simply discuss their next one. The highs are quite good, and you will likely find yourself laughing quite inappropriately at some point. Fans of the series will no doubt love the movie too, and perhaps fans of Jackass too. But there is a good reason that this film has an 18 certificate. If you are easily offended or easily squeamish then avoid this movie, as it may have you retching. It is to be appreciated for what it is, Fun nonsense. Just keep it away from any children.
Summary: Not recommended for those with a weak constitution
