Advantages: Many laughs, good on screen relationships

Disadvantages: Some turn away moments

Dirty Sanchez is a group of four lads who at first I thought were trying to jump on the Jackass bandwagon, but I think these guys are mega extreme compared to Knoxville and co. The lads who are Pritchard, Dainton, Pancho and Joycey started off the show based in Newport, South Wales, but since the first show they have branched out to all areas including travelling abroad and taking their stunts from one extreme to the next.

They perform all sorts of stunts including some ridiculous self-inflicted pain ones involving stapling each other and competing in the pin Olympics where they roll around on the floor covered with drawing pins and they try to get from one end of the room to the other. This results in pins being inserted in various parts of the body and has you looking away in shock as they pull them out. Another stunt that seems to be a favourite among the lads is running around in their underwear as they get pullmed by their mates with paintball guns. As I am writing this I am thinking this sounds very dull but it is funny to watch and these lads can really take some pain. Away from their stunts you get to see a more jokey side of them and there is one guy, Pancho, who seems to be the butt of all the jokes. These pranks are usually done when he is asleep and involve cutting his hair off, pouring egg and flour over him and once they poured some green substance over him and when he got up he looked like the incredible hulk and he was roaring which had me in stitches - maybe just my sense of humour but I nearly wet myself!

That is basically the programme, each show runs around half an hour and at the moment you can catch it on channel TMF where they are looking back at past episodes. On the back of the success of the show the lads did do a movie, and just for anyone who has never seen this programme before, a warning, some of this stuff will proper make you gag and turn over the channel. Some of their harder stunts even made the legendary Tokyo shock boys tell them that they were crazy and they would not try their stunts.

In conclusion this programme is not for the faint hearted and it really is a show which is basically four lads taking stunts to the next level and beyond but having a laugh whilst doing so - well until they get hurt real bad!

Summary: Top programme but one to watch with the lads not with your mrs!
