Advantages: Plenty of adventures and scares and laughs along the way to keep you happy.

Disadvantages: The end of the show.

I have been a fan of Doctor Who for years.I do enjoy the current series that are shown with David Tennant as The Doctor and Catherine Tate and Billie Piper amongst some of his assistants.I do prefer though when it was shown in the 1980`s as that was my favorite era and I would say had my Number 1 Doctor in Colin Baker.

He had a few assistants along the way but I think the best was Perry and I remember reading an article somewhere that the actress who played her was not American and only put the accent on for the audition but she played the role well but was sadly replaced after a scene on the show.

I did used to hide behind the sofa or a pillow sometimes especially if The Doctor encountered one of his sworn enemies like The Master who always took an instant dislike to The Doctor and was always trying to find ways to end his life and the there was Davros the Leader of The Daleks who were an alien race who where like a pepper pot with plungers for arms and other funny things attached to their body frame and Davros when he got angry made me very scared indeed.

I also think the theme tune was brilliant and I only wish I had it as a ringtone or on my iTunes because even though when it got an extended play at the end of each show it just made it even better.I have to say also that watching the Doctor Who Movies they are all good in their own way and Peter Cushing made a fine Doctor but I dont know about Paul Mccann.

I really thought the Cybermen were a scary also and they have been popping up and dissapearing and coming back for years and
once they put you in one of their machines your memory would
vanish and you would become one of them a robotic crazy monster who was ready to take over the world.

For people who are recent watchers of Doctor Who and the younger generation who have only seen recent Doctors like Christopher Ecclestone and David Tennant I urge you to watch
Doctor Who Series from way back I promise you it will be a wise move and one you will enjoy and like you more understand where the current Doctor has evolved from.

Summary: A great TV Show that still has great credibility after all theses years.
