I used to wathc this programme - so I know its always been bad, trashy T.V. that you didn't expect to engage your brain watching. However I watched it again recently and found it laughable! The storylines are increasingly ridiculous. The programme is set in a doctor's surgery in the Midlands, though I think maybe one of the cast may ... Read the complete review

I've started watching this since my mother started recording it on Sky Plus for when she gets home in the evening. "Doctors" is a daytime drama about the goings-on at a G.P. surgery called The Mill Health Centre in a fictional town called Letherbridge. Julia, who has been in it almost since the very beginning, is ... Read the complete review

This is the BBC's daytime soap. It is ideal if you want something to watch whilst you are finishing your lunch or doing the ironing. It is very cleaverly written in that each episode is a complete story in its own right but there are longer more complex stories which carry on for months at a time. The programme revolves around the ... Read the complete review

Doctors is a BBC One daytime soap/drama. It focuses on a group of Doctors/nurses and the receptionists who work between two doctors surgeries, The Mill health centre, and the Campus Surgery which is a new surgery opened at the local university. The 30 minute episodes focus on a main individual storyline featuring different people each ... Read the complete review

Doctors was first broadcast by the BBC in 2000. It is a daytime drama/soap about a doctor's surgery. It was originally set in Riverside surgery. The surgery was run by Dr. Brendan 'Mac' Macguire and his wife, practice manager, Kate Macguire. It explored the typical issues doctors and patients would face in a surgery. Real life issues are covered ... Read the complete review

Oh how opinions can change over a few months, 6 months ago I was delibrately avoiding this show, if I could find something else to do I'd do that, if I could make an excuse to turn the TV over I would...then one day I left it one and actually watched it waiting for Neighbours...then one day became two...two became three and three ... If you were asked to name a soap opera, you’d probably say Coronation Street, Eastenders, Emmerdale, or Neighbours; that is, if you’re one of those good, honest citizens who actually go to work during the day to earn a living. Those of us who have nothing better to do than watch daytime TV can add another name to add to the list. It is Doctors ... Read the complete review

One of my favourite daytime shows, and being as there aren't many that is not doing it justice! This is a great Drama series in its 4th series. As you can probably tell by its title it is about Doctors but not set in a hospital, no its set in Riverside surgery in a place called Letherbridge. My only criticism of this show is that the ... Why do they put this programme on at 12.30pm? I'm sure it is worthy of a prime-time evening slot. Doctors is on BBC1 at 12.30pm every weekday and it is well worth recording to watch later. Apparently it is done by the same people as Casualty and this shows in the style of show, although Doctors is much more laid back and gentle. ... Read the complete review

Doctors is on weekdays at 12.30pm on BBC1. As I am a stay at home mum I stumbled upon this drama by accident really but now I am hooked! It is about a doctors surgery and the five doctors that work there. There is also a nurse, a dippy blonde receptionist and the practice manager who is the wife of the senior partner, who is played by ... Read the complete review

Doctors has not really had a chance yet to establish itself. All new series need a chance to grow, and for the characters to impeded on our consciousness. Without time, most series would probably sink without trace. Can anyone remember the first series of All Fools and Horses. It was not good. They were thinking of pulling the plug, until the ... I really enjoyed the Doctors series and was surprised when I saw episode on BBC1 the other night, without warning or advertisement - it was pure luck that I stumbled accross it. Was this a new series, or just a one off to fill a gap in the schedule. Doctors is a very realistic drama, and how I would expect a Doctors surgery to be behind the ... Read the complete review

I got quite addicted to this 'doctorsoap' went on holiday and it had gone! I loved the 'bickering' about who had eaten the last biscuit; very realistic of what happens in the day to day running of any office/business. The doctors seemed typical of the mix expected in a British practice (in personality, sex and ... Read the complete review

This is the most recent of the current fashion for medical dramas. Presented as a cross between a medical drama and a soap it is a scheduled at lunchtimes on BBC1. The programme looks as if it was made on a budget, with the acting competent and the sets ok, but the total value of the programme is left far behind other soaps and dramas. ...
