How Clean is Your House:
... clean is your house is basically two women (Kim Woodburn and Aggie Mackenzie) helping people to clean their grossly dirty and messy houses. I used to get confused over which one is which but I ve got it sussed now though after Aggie took part in Dancing on Ice! Anyway, these two women armed with their glamourous fluffy rimmed rubber gloves get invited to go to someone s house to clean it up and make it spick and... Time Team ... Team is not a programme I ever thought I would enjoy watching but my previous boyfriend did a degree in archaology and as such he always liked to watch this programme and I actually grew to like it. The show can be seen on Channel Four and is hosted by Tony Robinson who as an actor took on the role of Baldrick in the Blackadder comedy series. As a presenter he is excellent, I love the intonation of his voice and he has a real passion for the subject of history and is able to talk authortavely on the subject. The quality of his presenting is a major plus for me. The idea behind the programme is for Robinosn and his team to explore ancient sites as part of an archaol... Time Team ... shown on Channel 4 way back in 1994, this is a programme that I would watch with my parents. I have to admit that I did not take much notice of it then, but in recent weeks have taken to watching the re-runs on the More4 channel. The current series is running on Channel 4 at 5.45 pm on Sunday evenings. Presented by Tony Robinson (who many will remember as Baldrick in the Black Adder series), Time Team is essentially a programme about archaeology and the excavating of artefacts which can be dated back as far as the Bronze Age. The main remit of the show is the fact that the team travel around the country and carry out digs at various locations where there could be ... Dan Cruickshank's Adventures in Architecture ... love Dan Cruickshank! Well not physically as he s too old and dusty, but he s the type of charismatic avuncular guy you would like to have a beer with and hear his tales of travel and adventure. Imagine if you were a kid and he was your uncle. It would be like being Indiana Jones son. I bet he could find even some hidden caverns or secret treasures in my home county of Northamptonshire; he s that clever and knowledgeable. I first got hooked on his unique and welcoming historical documentaries with his the Around the World in 80 Treasures series back in 2005. But where as that show had some sort of clear narrative of looking at the world s great historical treasures ...
