Advantages: Get to see products before they hit shelves, intelligent show

Disadvantages: Can be annoying when one dragon thinks they are cleverer than all others

Dragon's Den is a programme where five of the UK's biggest and most successful entrepreneurs (known in the show as the dragons) who have since starting their own businesses gone onto be highly respected and successful in their selected industry sectors sit and watch new entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas and or inventions to try to seek investments from the dragons. This might sound like quite a boring idea for a show but watching the entrereneurs asking for an amount of cash investment and how much of their business they are willing to give up for the investment and the dragons fighting it out amongst each other when they see big potential from a pitch.
I have watched so many of these shows and some of the products pitched that I have been impressed with I have since seen in stores and it makes you realise that the people who are realising their dreams are just ordinary people with an idea.

Summary: A great show which inspires normal people to follow their dreams with some funny bits
