Advantages: Shows you the ideas and creations of new business people

Disadvantages: deborah meaden never invests!

Dragons Den! What a brilliant show with some brilliant idea's but just like any of the other reality TV shows you get the ones you cant help but laugh at, some of the ideas they put before the judges are just plain ridiculous and yet some of these people have put their homes and lively hoods on the line because they believe so strongly in the products they have created.
The programme is about five very successful business entrepreneurs, who are all looking to invest in a product which will make them even more money. While the contestants who are bringing their products before the dragons (entrepreneurs) are looking for enough cash from the dragons the get their product/business to the next level, they also are looking for the dragons advice and help.
The dragons decide who to help by asking the contestants a series of questions to determine if their business is worth investing in or not, and if its going to bring them some kind of profit.
Pretty simple concept really, and has really entertained me in watching the different ideas which have been put before the dragons. Some of the products are really good ideas and I could actually see myself going out and buying while others you wonder what planet they live on to think that type of product would sell.
Overall dragons den is a brilliant programme, and is actually something which can be seen in day to day life such as the reggie reggie sauce which was invested in and is now in subway stores!

Summary: Good entertaining show!
