Advantages: The Dragons

Disadvantages: last person always gets the investment

Dragon's Den is a reality show which features entrepreneurs pitching their businesses to the 'dragons' who include Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Theo Paphitis, Duncan Bannatyne and James Caan. The entrepreneurs that enter the 'dragons den' are wanting to get a dragon to invest in their business so that they can get some money and the help of the a business expert. This involves the them coming and talking about their businesses. After this they will be asked a lot of questions about the business and themselves. It has currently just finished its 7th series.

One if the best things I like about the show is the Dragons. They are each entertaining to watch and can be really harsh when needed (especially Peter Jones). Its great when they get enter bidding wars and argue amongst themselves.

A disadvantage of the show is that the last person shown on each episode always gets the investment. I suppose it is nice to end the program with somebody succeeding in the den but every time there's just 10 minutes left in the show you know that the last person no matter what has happened will get the investment. The problem with this is that part of the entertainment of Dragons Den is wondering if the person will get the investment.

Overall Dragons Den is a great watch as it can actually teach people the basics of business. It is probably the best reality show out there as it is ten times better than all the other stupid reality shows on TV these days.
