Forward is the latest big TV programme that has crossed to the UK from America much like Lost, Heroes etc. Centring on the FBI team and the people closest to them as they try to solve one of the world s greatest mysteries. One day the whole world suffers a blackout at exactly the same time and for exactly the same length of time. This causes chaos all over the world as planes and cars crash and everyone is in a panic situation since nobody knows what happened. True Blood ... have long been equated with sex in our various mythologies regarding them, and yet the vampire shows on TV are usually aimed at tweens and teens and suitable for early evening viewing on TV. Now I love Buffy and Angel as much as much as the next Whedon geek but stuff like Twilight really bores me. True Blood is a real breath of fresh air when it comes to vampire TV. It follows the life of mind-reader Sookie Stackhouse, an ever so slightly prim Southern Belle who works as a waitress, as she is introduced to the murky world of vampirism by Bill, a bizarrely well mannered and well behaved vampire, who at some points looks more like a book salesman. Dawson's Creek ... One Tree Hill, The OC and Gossip Girl came Dawson s Creek, the pioneering American teen drama that ran from 1998 to 2003. Set in Capeside Massachestts (a fictional American town) there are initially 4 main characters.... Dawson, Joey, Pacey and Jen. With Andy and Jack joining in the later series, and Audrey once they head off to university.
