Advantages: Cop show with a difference

Disadvantages: could have been better written

Its been awhile since I first watched this TV program, it stars Paul Gross as Benton Frazer a fictional Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer who went to Chicago with his half-wolf Diefenbaker (who is death but can read lips) to try and find the killer of his father.

He eventually gets transfered to Chicago where he works as a liasion officer to the Chicago police department. His methods seem different to the police and the show is part comedy spoof and part police drama.

He is partnered up with a Chicago police detective Raymond Vecchio.

It is full of sterotpical characters as Benton Frazor is what you would expect from sterotypes as overly polite and truthful, his methods are a bit strange compaired to usually cop show but he always manages to solve his crime and catch his man as is shown in the first episode where he tracks somebody half way across Canada.

Summary: A bit different to usually police shows
