Advantages: Some good storylines, keeps you watching!

Disadvantages: The endings of some of the storylines!!!

Eastenders is one of the most popular soaps on TV at the moment and has been since 1985, Eastenders is broadcast on BBC1 on Monday, Thursday, Thursday and Friday and is currently one of the most watched shows on British TV!

Eastenders is set in a ficticious town of Walford in the East End of London. The show revolves around Albert Square, a square in the town. Where everyone knows each other and know everyone elses business!

There have been a range of storylines in the 25 years it has been shown, charcters have come and gone, but one face and one family have remained in the show throughout all that time...Peggy Mitchell and the gang of Mitchells, they run the Queen Victoria (Queen Vic) pub, where everyone seems to drink, despite moaning about having no money...!

Whenever people leave the "square" they either die (normally through been run over or been hit over the head with something...) or they leave in the back of one of Charlies taxis!!!

Some of the storylines have been pretty stupid, and the endings have been completely unbelieveable, I mean lets think of Dirty Den, who was buried under the cement in the Queen Vic by his wife when they owned the pub, this was after he had already been killed once before......!!!!!!!!!

Eastenders is a pretty serious soap, unlike Corrie which has a comic element, there are sometimes some parts to Eastenders which are quite funny, Tanya and Jane have some funny moments and some of the things they say are pretty funny, along with Ian and some of his antics!!! But, most of the time the storylines revolve around the Mitchells in some way which are pathetically serious lol!

At the moment the main storylines are about Max and Tanya getting back together- which I think id going to go terribly wrong since Lauryn found an earing in his car...which actually really is totally innocent!!! Also Peggy and Archie, who has come back into the square after messing up Peggys life when he told Ronnie her daughter was dead when she was actually living in the square, and Gary and Dawns relationship after she had an affair with Phil Mitchell who has now decided he wants nothing more than sex from her.

The show is good, but some of the storylines are ridiculous in the length of time they go on (this Archie story has been going on since last year!!!) and the way they end, more than likely Archie will end up dead or going off in that damn taxi!!!!!!!!

I like it, and it is a good watch, there are some exciting storylines which keep you watching every night, but I do think they need to re-think the endings of some of their storylines!!!!

Summary: A good show, but it annoys me how they win every award at the Soap Awards!!
