Advantages: great cast and characters

Disadvantages: addictive!

Eastenders first started in 1985 and has been going strong ever since. I love to watch eastenders and it is on as follows:
monday 8pm
tuesday 7.30pm
thursday 7.30pm
friday 8pm

It has some great characters and storylines including the following families:
THE BUTCHERS:
consists of janine who has a rather catty character and is basically evil to everyone.

Pat butcher- kind hearted yet not to be messed with

ricky butcher- currently in a love triangle with sam mitchell and bianca.

THE MITCHELLS:
phil mitchell- local hardman, often brings an element of comedy into the soap

peggy mitchell: feisty and aggressive and cares about her family name

sam mitchell: just returned to the square and as always causing havoc.

roxy mitchell: funny and again feisty

ronnie mitchell- cold hearted and a bit of a cow to everyone!

THE BRANNINGS:
Max Branning- a serial cheater but a good dad

Tanya Branning- wife of max but opposite personality! caring and a good mother

Jack Branning- local business man. quite often at loggerheads wirh either phil or his brother max.

Eastenders is definitely worth watching. The cast are great and in particular Lacey Turner (stacey), steve mcfadden (phil mitchell) and barbara windsor (peggy). They all give the soap an element of comedy and whats so enticing about this soap isthat there are always so many emotions. More often not, there is a sad or depressing storyline to keep the audience hooked. The christmas specials are always legendry and definitely worth watching. Overall, i love this soap and i would say it it my favourite.
