Unfortunately some 10 years ago I regularly watched this depressing television series that would be aired several times a week on BBC called Eastenders, a series with nothing to offer but doom and gloom with a depressing environment, depressing characters, depressing street quite simply depressing.

Eastenders attempts to represent your average working class citizen across a diverse multi ethnic multi cultural background in the east end of London which it fails to do accurately. While everyone has a sinister attitude and constantly wants to beat up their best friend they never swear.

Usually working class cockney people will use the f word non stop however I haven't heard a swear word once in this series. The story line always revolves around trivial, pointless and insignificant matters so it's hard to believe the series holds any appeal. You always get the odd characters trying to act all tough like they're chief of the town or something. The most depressing aspect of the series is perhaps the length of time it's been going on for, several few decades yet it never ends. The cast that appear in the series lack any form of acting skills, they're just themselves in front of the camera. Therefore they can't get work outside of Eastenders.

This television series represents a depressing outlook on life. People should aspire to better things. I would love to rewrite the script. One day a meteorite falls on Walford and everyone is wiped out, the end.
