Advantages: Its weird but i honestly cant think of any at all and yet i still watch it.

Disadvantages: Can be unbeleievable and inconsistent

Eastenders has been going for years and as much as i hate to admit it, i do watch it. The programme takes place on Albert square in walford with 99% of the characters never straying further than 'the caf' or the local pub 'the queen vic'.

Although i personally do like it, i can easily see why some dont, it is very depressing (unlike good old corrie) with nothing positive ever happening. Whether it be cheating partners, alcoholic philips or even the occasional murder (wooooooo!!!) theres always something to sap the joy out of even the most upbeat person ; P

The show is on monday-friday (except wednesday) for half an hour and is usually on around the 8 o clock mark.

The thing that does annoy annoy me a little bit tho is how sometimes therell be two characters who have never said two words to eachother suddenly start talking as if their old friends. Also whenever theres even the most minor of disturbances in the pub everyone always stops and stares in a really contrived way which always makes me cringe for some reason.

Some of the more recent story lines are getting pretty far fetched as well with characters personalities being changed overnight to fit the story lines. Where as other soaps like corrie seem to have more character integrity.

All in all i wouldnt lose any sleep if it was taken off the air tommorow but i must be honest and say even though it can be annoying at times i would class myself as a fan.
