Advantages: great storylines and actors/actresses

Disadvantages: too much criticism

Well, I've reviewed most of the soaps so I thought it would only be fair that I didn't leave Emmerdale out! And luckily, it's not a bad soap opera either. Set in the countryside village of Emmerdale, it follows the lives of the residents.

Some of the families:

The Kings- The wealthiest residents of Emmerdale, well they were until this week anyway. It was a huge family to start with, but now there's only three members left! Jimmy: The eldest King brother, known for being a bit dim and is really quite soppy. Karl: The middle King son, bit of a dodgey character, he also killed his father. Scarlet: the long lost teenage sister of Jimmy and Karl. also quite like Jimmy where intelligence is concerned but also a nice character in general.

The Thomas's- The religous family. Ashley: The soon to be ex Vicar of the parish church in Emmerdale. Laurel: The wife of Ashley, bubbly character, recently the family were centre of a heart wrenching cot death storyline. Arthur: The baby they thought they had lost to cot death, I'm not going to try and explain this one, you had to watch it!


There are loads of great characters and storylines in Emmerdale, I think it should get more awards!
