Advantages: good story lines

Disadvantages: too predictable

Its been going on for years, like Brookside had some very dramatic story lines. However, I do think that Emmerdale to me has lost some appeal somewhat. I hope it doesn’t come on five days a week, how many times can you see Jack whinge and Sarah moan.

In the past I have enjoyed its story lines, the kidnapping of Chris Tate was good, and when goodie two shoes Zoe shot her brother, how unrealistic, but it made good viewing.

And well done to Emmerdale they may have no ethnic minorities but they must be the only soap with a disabled, Chris Tate.

The Dingle family have produced some good story lines, the death of Butch was so sad, just when he seemed to find happiness with simple Emily.

The incest between step brother Scott and Kelly got the villagers going, not to mention Viv. When will she realise she’s past it.

They have had some excellent story lines, but I think there’s so many soaps who seem to have the same plots one after another, that for me anyway Emmerdale is one to much.
