There are better soaps (Emmerdale)

Advantages: good storylines, good characters

You have to admit that Emmerdale isn't the best soap in the world, don't get me wrong, it is good but other soaps do a better with their storylines. Not much has happened in the Dlaes lately. There used to be a time when everything was happening in Emmerdale but now the same storylines are being dragged on for weeks on end. The last dramatic happening was when the bus crashed killing a lot of people including the lovely Butch.

Emmerdale has it's pub which is definately the centre of the village, The Woolpack is everyones local and it is where the bitch fights and public announcments take place. It is a bit like the Queen Vic ot the Rover's Return. It is currently being run by Bernice and her mother with the help of her sister and Louise.

over the years Emmerdale has seen many new faces. One of the most recent is Louise the new barmaid. She was Home and Away's Marylin but fancied a change so she went to a not so glamorous but still beautiful place.

Like many other storylines Emmerdale has had more than it's fair share of tragidies, one of the worst is the bus running from Emmerdale to Hotton crashing. It was it's first journey and many passangers were on board. When it came speeding down the hill another vehicle was on it's way up, the brakes wouldn't work so the two vehicles collided causing a lot of chaos. Many people died, these included Butch whom everyone liked but unfortunately he died in hospital. Kethy was thought dead but turned out ok. Most blamed Chris Tate, afterall it was his bus!

Other storylines included Chris Tate's kidnapping, the crashing of the plane, Grahem killing his wife and then attempting to kill Kathy, he eventually died himself.
Ememrdal, although not the best, is a great soap. It can be boring at times but when there is a disaster it is quite a good soap. i don't watch it a lot but when I do I enjoy it.

Summary:
