I am a really big fan of this show now and i can't wait until its on everynight. The storylines aren't always taht exciting but but with bernice and the vicar who needs crashes and drugs. The story lines at the moment same to be all about love with Marlon and Trisha getting it together. Now the scandal is that Jack and Bernices ... Read the complete review

Dear me what has happened to Emmerdale , gone are the days of wellies , tractors and sheep . Now it's all affairs , sex and vehicle crashes , the story line has become quite unbelieveable !!! The closest you get to see of any livestock these days is a few pigs outside the Dingles Den !!!! Bernice , Emily , and Tricia are so ... Read the complete review

Cast your minds back.. Emmerdale used to focus on such things as 'I have a fox den where my badger set used to be'. Okay.. so it wasn't quite like that but you get the picture right?.. The more you think about it, the more you realise how much the soap has really changed. It is better now than it was, but the real problem is, ... Read the complete review

Tricia and Marlon are talking about Spain but lets hope they dont leave. These two bring laughter to the soap. I dont think the situation between Sarah and Ritchie will last much longer because even though it was an odd and unbelievable storyline in the beginning he is now beginning to spend time working away and that is what Sarah objected ... A very good "farm" soap but with less of the farming now than it used to be. It has changed a lot since it first started. I used to like it when all the Sugdens - Annie and Jo and Matt were in it. Did you know in real life the person who plays Jack and the first actress to play Sara are in real life Husband and wife. Sometimes ... Read the complete review

Emmerdale has become one of my favourite 'soaps', but I can't help wondering, how, for such a tiny village, they can possibly have so many disasters and dramas! There has been a murder, aircrash, major lorry accident, kidnapping (apart from Chris Tate's brother!) and other juicy events too numerous to mention. ... Read the complete review

This has now turned into my favourite soap, the way it has changed over the last few years has made a big difference. I started watching it again after those brilliant plane crash episodes, they were really well done for such a small show(at the time). From then on I have been hooked, I never miss it and love the specials that they do. It ... Read the complete review

Emmerdale is set at a wonderful village in North Yorkshire. There you can see into the exaggerated day to day lives of local people in their countryside village. Within the area is The Woolpack a truly delightful cosy pub where the everyday gossip is passed around and spread amongst the villagers. Emmerdale is an eclectic mix of ... Read the complete review

I can see the attraction of Emmerdale. It has been brought up to date with new trendy characters and exciting story lines. I have a gripe however, it is on far too early. It is more an adult programme now and should be on later in the evening to prevent young children watching it. 6 and 7 year olds are too young to be watching ... Read the complete review

My husband has watched Emmerdale for years, i started watching a few months ago. I always saw it as an 'oldy' soap. I remembered seeing it when i was younger and it was BORING!!! What happened? When did it change? I was totally gobsmacked when i saw it on that fateful night 6 months ago. I was what you could call a captive ... Read the complete review

Although I still would never miss an episode of Emmerdale, I have been watching it since I was a kid and the Emmerdale of recent years is not a patch on the old Emmerdale Farm. On 'the old days' you would see countryside, roads, animals, houses, farms - you know the things you would expect to see in the countryside. You could ... Read the complete review

I will admit that I am no Emmerdale or Soap fan, however I am not one of those people who will rant and rave against them. That said my girlfriend is a fan of all soaps so occasionally I have to sit through 30 minutes of dullness. It is during one of those half hour slots that I was horrified to find that Tim Vincent had moved ... Read the complete review

Emmerdale, a well loved soap set in York. This country village and it's actors have taken this soap to the top with tragic, emotional, shocking, and sometimes even comical situations. However there is plenty of competition from other maybe more popular soaps like Brookside, Eastenders and Coronation Street. Take the challenge Emmerdale!!! ... Read the complete review

Emmerdale is with no doubt the best soap on TV. It has the best characters whom are colourful, believable and entertaining. The acting is first rate and the storylines are believable. As someone in another review has said the producers do seem to expect thier viewers to have no memory at all. When I watch the old repeats on granada ... Read the complete review

I have to admit I am a huge Emmerdale fan. Since it was dragged kicking and screaming in to the modern world by the dropping of the 'Farm' from the title I really think it has gone from strength to strength. I've always followed most popular soaps, Coronation Street, Eastenders and Neighbours. I even followed Brookside a few ... Read the complete review
