Edward Woodward starred in this American made action show as Robert McCall who is a man not to be messed with despite his middle England looks and manners as he is a former secret agent who has decided to loook after the little man by offerring his services to those in need, hence he can work as a body guard or as a private investigator to sort out peoples troubles. The character operates withing his own moral code therefore he is quite happy inflicting pain on hose who he considers worth it and is quite comfortable wth killing those who deserve it.
