This was written by me before the Eurovision 2009 and I thought I'd post it, as it is a (hopefully) humourous yet insightful look at Eurovision. 2009 may just have been the turning point in 'Eurovision' history. No longer is the infamous song contest just a political fight with countries voting for their allies. This year we saw talent, we saw voting from the public based on this talent, which instills hope that 'Eurovision' may just be back to what it should have always been; a European song contest with great talent captured in an entertaining evening.
