Advantages: good storylines and acting

Disadvantages: none

I have become quite addicted to Family Affairs over the past year and find that I don't really mind missing out on the other soaps, but if I miss this one I'm not impressed.
This is about the only thing I watch on channel 5, and I must say I think it is underestimated by many who haven't seen it - it really is an excellent show.
You've got some great characters like nasty Pete Callan, who seems to have his fingers in every pie imaginable, he's also a secret bigamist and murderer(however, he has led his new wife to believe that she killed her ex-lover Josh and she's up for murder now), as you can gather, this man puts dirty Den to shame.
The new spicey storyline involving Nicky and Luke will certainly prove entertaining. Nicky is married to Andrew, a middle aged doctor and she has just begun a passionate affair with her stepson Luke who is only about 19 years old! This will definitely make viewing a lot more interesting.
You can catch Family Affairs on channel 5 Monday to Friday at 6.30pm and repeated at 12.30pm, also an omnibus on Sunday afternoons at about 3pm.
