Advantages: It's on 5 days a week!

Disadvantages: Story lines can sometimes go on too long

I don't know why or when I started watching Family Affais but I have been watching it since the early days of the Hart Family.

This soap is the only thing worth watching on Channel 5 (apart from the occasional football match).

It's never been quite as good since they decided to get rid of the whole of the Hart Family by blowing them up on Roy and Mel's wedding day on a boat! (Yeah...this is how ridiculous the story lines can get).

At the same time the whole of the set seemed to move location completely. The soap used to be based around the Lock and the Hart Family's House. Now everybody lives on Stanley Street and for some reason they never seem to go anywhere else!!!

It is still a good soap and it is on 5 days a week which is excellent. There are some great actors in it (and some pretty awful ones!) Some have gone on to better things (Holly Hart for example has moveed on to Casualty to play a character also called Holly).
