Disadvantages: Has no-one noticed how Charnham has suddenly moved to London!?

Family Affairs used to be entertaining and then they killed the Hart family in the most unrealistic storyline ever known on a British soap, that is until they decide to bring them all back from the dead! I watched it from the beginning until this happened and I am sad to say that for me it never regained the pace and interest it once held. The whole soap, at the beginning was focussed upon one family and their friends so how can it continue without them. It also amazes me how Roy could watch his whole family , including new wife, be blown up and then a couple of months later be living with Maria, who incidently has already had an affair or relationship with everybody else, so really I suppose it was just a matter of time!
Ch 5 has never had a particularly good reputation and I don't believe that by axing the Hart family viewing figures have risen. The figures only come from a sample of people so producers never really know how many are watching.
Although lots of new fans did begin to watch at that point I also know that lots of fans ceased the need to press the 5 button on their remote again!
