Family Affairs is the biggest waste of time ever. It has a poor plot no really flair. The characters are poor and have no standards. It comes on at the worst time ever and every morning there is a repeat from a previous day which just show a lack of programming of behave of Channel five. i have to say i watched this since the start of C5 and haven't missed an episode yet. the soap has to contend to the best british soap, for its characters and storylines, from gay rape to armed robberies, but one episode i do disagree with is the axing of the hart family, i think it shoul have been less dramatic and it was to easy to get ... I must say that Family Affairs has become less entertaining now since the beginning. It was a great decision for C5 to write their own soap, instead of importing from elsewhere. It's a great soap although much maligned and has itself to blame in many respect by being on 5 days a week (which is actually great as well) so some stretching of plots and storylines can be seen. Am I the only person on the planet who watches this channel 5 soap??!!!! OK, so it's not Brooky or Eastenders, but it does have some good storylines and what else is there to watch at 6.30pm weekday evenings except for the regional news and some sci fi thing on BBC2, us soap addicts NEED to feed our addiction!!!!
